_cctv-shows-six-women-39dine-and-dashers39-fleeing-pub-after-racking-up-140-bill.webp "Footage shows six ‘dine and dash’ women brazenly walking out of a pub without paying a £140 bill.<br/><br/>The women stuffed their faces with food and booze on a Saturday afternoon at the Wheelbarrow Castle pub in Worcester.<br/><br/>Footage from the pub’s security camera shows the tracksuit-wearing women filing past the bar with one pushing a pram.<br/><br/>One of the women even takes time to stand and pick her nose while waiting for her friends to walk out without paying.<br/><br/>The dine and dashers were caught on camera leaving the popular pub at around 3pm on Saturday, March 23.<br/><br/>The women fled in a dark blue 4x4 and a dark coloured VW Golf after spending several hours eating food and ordering alcoholic drinks.<br/><br/>Landlady Sarah Hutchins said staff tried to chase the women who swore and laughed as they drove away.<br/><br/>Sarah posted images of the women on the pub’s Facebook.<br/><br/>The post read: “These delightful ladies were part of a group of six women that decided to leave without paying their £140 bill!<br/><br/>“They shot off in a 73 plate car, nice of them to stick their fingers up to our staff who tried to chase after them as they sped off! <br/><br/>“You’d think they would be able to pay their bill unless their car was stolen too.<br/><br/>“You people are why pubs are closing every day. _new-cctv-piran-ditta-khan-has-been-convicted-almost-20-years-after-pc-sharon-beshenivsky-was-killed.webp "The mastermind of an armed robbery that ended in a police officer being shot dead has been found guilty of her murder.<br/><br/>Piran Ditta Khan has been convicted almost 20 years after Pc Sharon Beshenivsky was killed while interrupting a raid at family-run Universal Express travel agents in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in November 2005.<br/><br/>She and her colleague Pc Teresa Milburn, who were both unarmed, were shot at point-blank range by one of the three men who had just carried out the robbery as he emerged from the door of the business.<br/><br/>Almost two decades on, Khan is the last of the seven men involved in the robbery to be convicted.<br/><br/>The 75-year-old flew to Pakistan two months after Pc Beshenivsky’s death and remained at liberty there until he was arrested by Pakistani authorities in January 2020 and then extradited to the UK last year.<br/><br/>Prosecutors said former takeaway boss Khan was the group’s ringleader and, although he did not leave the safety of a lookout car during the raid, played a “pivotal” role in planning it and knew that loaded firearms were to be used.<br/><br/>They told jurors this made him guilty of PC Beshenivsky’s murder “as surely as if he had pulled the trigger on that pistol himself”.")
