Couple Farrah and Phillip love being busy, so when looking to buy their first home together, they decided to opt for a property that needed a little work. Having found their ideal home, the couple wrote a letter to the owner, explaining why they were the perfect pair to take over the property. It was then owned by an elderly lady named Frankie and, previously, her late husband, Patrick, who spent more than four decades together in the house. Though she and Phillip were not the highest bidders, Farrah said, the seller decided to pick them.
